Service to Mankind Award given to Ronald Reagan by the Mexia, Texas, Chamber of Commerce in 1963.
On Saturday, November 16, 1963, Ronald Reagan visited Mexia, Texas, to give an Americanism address. During this visit, Reagan received a Service to Mankind plague presented by Mr. Hank Schulte, the Mexia Chamber of Commerce president. The plaque is made out of walnut wood in the shape of Texas and has a bronze plate with an engraving: "Ronald Reagan Service to Mankind Award 1963 Chamber of Commerce Mexia, Texas."
