Object Description
Photograph of Ronald Reagan taken in 1941 during his visit to Eureka, Illinois. Ronald Reagan attended Eureka College between 1928 and 1932. He was a member of the TKE's Iota Chapter during his time in Eureka and served as its President in 1928. Reagan was also active in school including theater and football. At the time of the photograph, Ronald Reagan was working as an actor in Hollywood.
This black and white photograph looks up upon a smiling Ronald Reagan as he stands on a stage during a Eureka College Pep Rally. Reagan is wearing a light colored suit jacket, a sweater vest, a white button up shirt and handkerchief, a black tie and pants. He is surrounded by several people including a few men standing next to him on his left and out of full view of the photograph there are several participants in the Pep Rally. The young woman to the left of the photograph is wearing a white Eureka College sweater.
The identity of the other people on stage with Reagan is unknown at this time.
