Object Description
Photograph of Ronald Reagan taken in 1941 during his visit to Eureka, Illinois. Ronald Reagan attended Eureka College between 1928 and 1932. He was a member of the TKE's Iota Chapter during his time in Eureka and served as its President in 1928. Reagan was also active in school including theater and football. At the time of the photograph, Ronald Reagan was working as an actor in Hollywood.
The black and white photograph shows Ronald Reagan standing in the TKE house with five other young men who stand in front of a window and a mantle place which holds several trophies. Ronald Reagan stands at the center of the photo looking at an unknown book. He is wearing his glasses, a light colored button up shirt, and dark pants.
The man to the left of him stands staring at the book, with a camera around his neck, a light colored jacket and button up shirt, and dark pants.
The men to the right stand staring at the book, wearing light colored button up shirts, and dark pants.
A fifth man is too far out of view to give an accurate description.
The identity of the five men is unknown.
