Object Description

Photograph of Ronald Reagan taken in 1941 during his visit to Eureka, Illinois. Ronald Reagan attended Eureka College between 1928 and 1932. He was a member of the TKE's Iota Chapter during his time in Eureka and served as its President in 1928. Reagan was also active in school including theater and football. At the time of the photograph, Ronald Reagan was working as an actor in Hollywood. 

This photograph shows seven young men standing in front of a window and a mantle which holds several trophies. At the center of the photograph is an unknown young man in a dark suit, light button-up shirt, glasses, and a dark stripped tie and handkerchief. He has his arm outstretched in a handshake with Ronald Reagan who is wearing a light colored button-up shirt, and dark pants. 

Several young men stand around watching Ronald Reagan speak to the unknown man.
