Object Description
Photograph of Ronald Reagan taken in 1941 during his visit to Eureka, Illinois. Ronald Reagan attended Eureka College between 1928 and 1932. He was a member of the TKE's Iota Chapter during his time in Eureka and served as its President in 1928. Reagan was also active in school including theater and football. At the time of the photograph, Ronald Reagan was working as an actor in Hollywood.
This black and white photograph shows Ronald Reagan posing along side six women inside of a car. Ronald Reagan sits behind the driver's side wearing a light button up shirt, dark pants, and holds his glasses in his lap. The women are wearing various forms of collared dresses with most wearing a headwrap. While most of the women are looking at Reagan, others are looking nearer the camera.
At this point, the location of the photograph is unknown. The background has part of a cleared area, while other parts have trees, brush or potentially crops growing, and telephone wires. The identity of the six women is unknown.
