This black and white photograph shows Ronald Reagan diving off the diving board at the Eureka College Swimming Pool during his time as a student, roughly in 1931. Reagan was an avid swimmer and had significant experience as a lifeguard, which he worked as during his teenage years living in Dixon, Illinois. Reagan was the leading participant on Eureka College's swim team.
