This black and white photograph shows Ronald Reagan in football gear. Reagan is pictured crouching in position as if ready for the next snap of the game. At the present time, more research is being undertaken to understand the provenance of the photograph. It is unknown if this was taken of Reagan during his time on the Eureka College football team, the Red Devils. He was a student from 1928 to 1932. Reagan played under head coach Ralph McKinzie with whom he maintained a lifelong respect for. and wearing with his football gear. Reagan also stared in a few movies in which he portrayed a football player including the well-known movie, Knute Rockne All American (1940).
