Object Description

This black and white photograph shows Ronald Reagan and two others standing in Melick Library next to a bronze bust of Abraham Lincoln. The man and woman stand posed next to Reagan and look at a camera out of sight. Reagan looks towards the photograph here, but at the time of capture his eyes were closed. Ronald Reagan's visit was for the Melick Library dedication and as Eureka College's most famous alumnus as former actor and then Governor of California, he would have been invited to the dedication. It is unknown where in Melick Library this photograph was taken.
