Object Description

This award given to Ronald Reagan in September of 1950 was for his role as Hal Norton in "Louisa." The award is a blue ribbon with a circle paper "medallion" with gold and navy blue wording and embellishments. The award is on a gold-colored cardboard background with an orange faux leather back. 

The medallion portion of the award depicts theater masks and a wreath in gold and reads:
